Course Objectives

In this module, we will provide a comprehensive overview of the approach to a patient presenting with urinary incontinence. Critical questions to ask in history, including how to distinguish stress urinary incontinence from urge incontinence and how it might affect the woman’s quality of life. Additionally, you will learn about specific signs to look for on physical exam, including assess pelvic floor strength and bladder neck mobility. Lastly, you will gain an understanding of the approach and management of the symptoms including important lifestyle changes as well as surgical approaches to management.
