Course Objectives

In this module, we will discuss the palliative care topic dying with dignity. You will learn the intricacies palliative care, how to properly communicate with your patient and their families, and how to maintain patient dignity at the end stages of their life. Additionally, you will learn the psychosocial aspect of dying, and how hope, grief, bereavement, and support can be used to help your patient cope with their prognosis. Lastly, you will learn about the ethical issues that may arise when dealing with palliative care.
