Crucial questions to ask in history, including date of last menstrual period and associated symptoms of weight changes or emotional stress, will be reviewed, as will the clinical significance of specific aspects of physical exam, such as cranial nerve exam and thyroid exam. Common investigations to consider based on clinical scenario, such as FSH or TSH levels, will also be covered. Lastly, you will gain an understanding about some common causes of secondary amenorrhea, such as prolactinoma and hypothyroidism.
